1997 ergo txt-dcs cart
I have this cart that is upgraded to 48 volts. I need to do some rear axle work and was wondering what the difference is between 1997 and 1998 carts. I would like to add limited slip but the conversion kits says it must be a 1998. If this is true what would be the best why to add limited slip? Can I change the rear axle to one from a 1998?
Was also thinking about 2 speed. We use the cart some offload and for running around the neighborhood. Would like to have a lot of torque and speed. Any opinions on this also would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Foster |

Re: 1997 ergo txt-dcs cart
I can't help on the differences, but I'm pretty sure my '98 has (had) a date on the motor and rear end, and they were different. Never hurts to check. In my case, one was a year newer than the serial number indicates.
