Cool Converting Bad Boy Buggy to Regular 2WD EZGO

I bought an older Bad Boy Buggy that has only one controller for both motors. the controller is bad and it appears the motors are bad. So here's what I plan to do. I want to convert it to a normal 2wd Ezgo. I don't know the year but it has 3 bolts at the base of the steering column. I have ordered an alltrax 500amp controller (Part #995) from Buggies unlimited and in process of trouble shooting the motors. I need a wiring harness for a normal electric EZGO. Buggies unlimited told me i had a cart between 94-2001 TXT. All the external parts on the BBB are in very good condition. Just need to know how to wire up the new Alltrax controller.

Welcome,

Here's what I would do if I were you. I would return the alltrax to BU and buy it from Scotty B at Carts Unlimited. Besides the fact that he's a site sponsor he's a alltrax Jedi and probably has everything you need power related including motors. Do some searching here and you'll see what I mean, level 10+ customer service. You have 30 to return to BU for a refund.

I'm trying to revive this thread to get some help. I have a 2007 model that I would love to convert to 2wd only. Can someone point me in the direction of help?

I just bought a complete 48v system from Scotty b. I have an 07 ezgo txt. Alltrax controller admiral b2 motor, 400 amp solenoid 2g. Cable set , and the dpi charger, also purchased Trojan ranger 160's ! My build is almost done. Should be ready for this weekend ! Haven't test drove it yet. Scotty b had the best prices around. Plus it's tried and true and u also get his custom tuning on the controller. His kit is plug and play. Just wire it up. !

Please keep us informed on your buggy. I am thinking of going the same route that you have.

I have a 2008 BBB I am trying to convert to 2wd also. can you not just swap the front end out and disconnect the controller for the front?
