Default 0-5k throttle voltage question

How should you check the throttle output of the curtis throttle with the pb-6 pot? I have checked the pot and it has a clean 0-5k curve. Pack voltage on pin 1 to power the controller, but nothing on the throttle wires. What should the voltage be going to the pot, and returning back?

Attached is Pg-27 from the Curtis 1204/5 manual. Test-3 is for the post-box throttle.

Thanks Johnnie! The pot checks good. Smooth 0-5k I just don't get any voltage on either one of the throttle wires. Good voltage on the ksi terminal. I'm guessing the controller is not sending and throttle voltage. Bad controller?

The only thing that comes to mind other than a bad controller is a bad connection between B- on battery pack and B- on controller.

That all checked out. I finally pulled the controller to find this. The whole end of the case is missing. This is actually on a Yamaha cart, but don't have much luck getting help on that forum. Thanks for the help Johnnieb.

I've never seen the innards of a 1204, so would you be so kind as to pull it apart (if possible and practical) and take some pictures?

The Alltrax SR would be a nice replacement.

I will. I had planned on dissecting it. I have an SR 48400 ordered from Scottyb.

And, I hate to "thread jack", but I had to for a tasty morsel for JohnnieB, pics of a AC Curtis controller from a Ezgo 2Five. I was going to call it a Rxv controller, and wait for the astute among us to call me out on the "no resistor terminal", but decided not to.
