Default 36 volts to two small terminals on solenoid zero when gas pedal pushed

I have a melex 36v 512e I believe and I’m having some issues. I got new batteries new micro switch for foward and reverse and a new solenoid. When I turn the key on I get 36 volts between the two small terminals and when you push the gas pedal I get zero. This doesn’t make sense to me. The microswitch I got has 3 spots to put wires instead of 2 it has.NC,ON,and COMMON. Any one have an issue like this before? . I wired everything to how it was on the cart before. I have good pack voltage . Pot box seems to be good after a ohm test. I am stumped.

Did you confirm that the solenoid is good? Are you getting the correct voltage from the big terminal once the small ones are energized?

It was the gas pedal microswitch being wired incorrectly original owner change switch and never worked again I guess.
