Default 95' lost 99% power. Press accelerator and get slight bump.

I have a 1995 36 volt. It has been a headache since I bought it but I've replace the solenoid and the Fotward and reverse switch and got it running great. I had a flat so we had to tow it home once I replaced it I get in the cart and I have no power to move. The cart is fully charged with 36.1 volts showing from my multimeter. When you press the accelerator you get a slight bump whether you're in forward or reverse but that's it. It even does the same thing when I'm out of the cart.

Before I go out there and start sweating to death (Florida) I want to know what you guys think the possibilities could be and what to check for??

Back when my forward and reverse switch was burnt up after the solenoid click there was nothing but here looking at the forward and reverse switch you can tell it looks great and you actually get that slight little 1% power so I'm at a loss to what to check for.

Ok well what is fully charged after the charger comes off? What would be too low to move the cart?

Maybe the solenoid is not closing - and the slight bump is just the controller pre-charge being spent.

So are you suggesting the solenoid is bad?

Okay so batteries will not charge past 36.1 volts total or 5.8-5 .9 volt individual. While the charger is on I read 43 volts but as soon as you take it off it goes right back to 36. All the battery water is filled. Whats the deal?

Are you letting the charger finish?

The charger ran for 18 hours but I figured out what the problem was and it was just dirty terminals. I use baking soda to clean the terminals. I pulled them apart, wire brush them and put them back together and now the cart moves I've since charged it and let the charger cut off and it only reach 37.1 volts. So I drove it a little bit and I put it back on the charger and I'll see if it charges it up a little higher.
