Default Brakes locking up intermittently

Hi All,
So the issue I am having is that even with the lightest touch my brakes are locking up. 93 marathon 4" lift 20" tires. I didn't do the lift, I bought it like that. I'm looking for a good starting point to troubleshoot.

Not saying this is your issue, but on lifted carts the ones with a single U bolt on each side of the rear axle allows the axle/motor to shift. This causes the already stretched brake cable to tighten more, causing highly sensitive braking.
I'd start there, see if your brake cable is abnormally tight without any play.

Brake cables likely too tight.

I didn't have the chance to dive into it yet. When I get it home for the winter I'm going to strip it down anyway so I'll look then

I have a similar setup. 92 marathon 4” lift 22” tires. This happens to me at times as well and it coincides with really humid and damp conditions. If we’d have a few days of rain or generally excessively humid conditions the brakes will get grabby on me. One it drys out a bit they return to normal.

If you order a brake cable for the passenger and put it on the drivers side. That will cure the cable being to tight. That's what I had to do on my 95 Medalist with a 4" lift. Worked great
