Test the volts coming out under load.

Re: Series cart slowed down, new batteries installed and still slow
The posts should be labeled, but the B- should have 1 cable going directly to the battery pack main negative, the B+ should be the one with 2 cables on it, 1 from the solenoid then 1 to the F/R switch and the M- should have 1 cable going to the motor.

Re: Series cart slowed down, new batteries installed and still slow
If I am doing this right and I am not sure I am..with my meter on B1 and the to the small white wire J4 (?) I think i get 13.6v just sitting still key on. Press the peddle i get .04 to .00. I am assuming i am doing some thing wrong.

Try this:
https://www.cartsunlimited.net/troub...ting-tips.html If you don't understand how to use a DVM/DMM - most people don't - sounds like a good place to start. |

Re: Series cart slowed down, new batteries installed and still slow
Key on and when I hook the volt meter to M- and then B+ I have zero volts. Push the peddle and it will only increase to 1.3 volts max and jumps around from .2 to .9. Does this indicate a bad controller?

Re: Series cart slowed down, new batteries installed and still slow
I've been emailing this guy - hopefully he can send some pics of the controller tags and we can figure out if it is a made for ITS controller or if it has a throttle converter on it like the FSIP GE controls which were nearly identical ...
