red probe in pin1 (white wire), black probe in other end of white wire: 000.0
red probe in pin2 (black wire), black probe in other end of black wire: 000.0
Voltage on Pins 9 & 10 is okay.

The two wires have expected continuity, but that is not what I was asking for.

Unplug the 10-pin connector from the XCT controller and unplug both wires from the ITS sensor.
Connect the Red test lead to the White wire and the Black test lead to the Black wire at the pedal box end of the wires.
That will give you the Ohmic reading BETWEEN the two wires.

If the reading is 10,000,000Ω or above, the controller is bad.

Ok, I did exactly what you've requested

10 pin harness is not connected to anything.
Black and white are unplugged from the ITC.
Red probe is on the white wire at the ITC end.
Black probe is on the black wire at the ITC end.
VM is set to Ohms.

Okay, that shows there isn't any continuity (IE: Undesired current path) between the two wires that connect the ITS sensor to the controller, which leaves the ITS sensor or controller as the problem source.

You've tried two different ITS sensors, one of them being new, so that pretty much eliminates the ITS sensor as the problem source.

That leaves the controller, and you've verified there is pack voltage on pins 9 & 10 and the constant current source that feeds the ITS sensor is powered by one of those two pins, so the operational needs for the controller appear to have been met. That leaves an internal controller issue.

Time to ask for a warranty replacement.

Just closing the loop on this one. Talked to Alltrax a couple weeks back and did an RMA return on the original controller I purchased. Got the new one last week. Got it hooked up and only had one wire backwards on the install. Cart is all up and running now.

Huge thank you to everyone that helped offer tests/checks/suggestions.
