Default G16 accelerator and driven clutch question

I have a G16 where the driven clutch is grinding on the rear housing. Can anyone point me to the sponsor site with the kit to replace either the shaft spacer, or the entire driven clutch as a kit which would include the spacer? The ramps are getting fairly worn, so maybe the whole thing could be replaced.

Also, is it common for the Yamaha to have sort of a "dead" spot on the accelerator pedal? You sort of need to feather it before it kicks in.

Thanks in advance!

There is ia spacer that replaces the circlip. You can get it with a torque spring kit or seperate. Ramp shoes can be replaced. For the dead spot....your carb may need cleaning, the amin jet is located in the float bowel area and can get "varnished" closed. Good luck dave

Default Re: G16 accelerator and driven clutch question

Thanks smallblock! I thought I saw a kit a while back which had the entire drive clutch, plus a new torque spring. So far, this is the best I can find. http://www.cartpartsplus.com/yamaha-...-g-2-g-21.html

Can anyone tell me if they've seen a kit with the helix, new shoes, spacer, sheave, belt? I will keep looking, too.

Thanks.
