OK,
Here is what I got...

Cylinder is 2.954 after honing.

Piston is 2.932 at the top edge of the piston (bottom arrow in photo) and through the Oil Port Section.

Piston at the base is 2.950 (top arrow in photo) where the connecting rod pin is located, as well as at the extreme edge.

OK, back together and no smoke.

That is one off my "bucket list"

I have the clutch tool if anyone needs to borrow it.

I would like to borrow your clutch tool. I'm located a little Southwest of you in IL. Is it for a rear clutch or driven?

The tool is for the Engine Clutch.
