Default Help with yamaha g1? Gas cart

I hope its ok i post a thread i didnt know where to turn to to ask questions about the cart,

I was given this yamaha cart I would like to fix it, I have questions

I cant find the manual for it, i need to know how to pull engine out, I have checked compression, psi 40, and I found numbers on side of engine- j17-000842, Any help is appreciated

The engine is bolted down with 4 bolts, you get to them underneath the swing arm. Disconnect all electrical wires and fuel lines. Make sure to disconnect and remove the battery to be safe.

J17 is a 1982,it was a odd ball year mainly the head/jug and carb boot and gasket-boot to head are different form all the other years.. also check out the thread/sticky

Thank you for the help, dad and I got it running, all we did was clean the carburetor, every single tiny holes were clogged inside the carburetor, Runs great, now onto working on the gas parcar and need to figure out my ezgo 3 wheel gas cart, has 60 psi both ways but is still sluggish, Will be posting it on different forums for ezgo Thanks again
