Carryall 2 no spark?
Bought a used 94 caryall 2 with a 290 motor. Ran really good for a couple of months until last week. Parked it, went to start it five minutes later and turned over but later found out no spark. As I found this site and other people with the same problem and started to pull the limiter wire, I noticed there were no volt limiter nor ignitor. Apparently must have happened to the original owner. So next step replaced the coil and cleaned the flywheel and magnet with sand paper. Put back together no spark. Any ideas other than try another new coil?

Re: Carryall 2 no spark?
Think I found the issue. Was wondering why the new coil was shaped a little different. Found out my cart being an 94 but changed motor to 97 or newer. That being said I believe the newer coils has the ignitor built in and the one I ordered was for the 94 in which has a separate ignitor under the limiter. Rite part and see what happens.
