I am sbout to wire the brake lights on my cart and the micro-switch has three connections in it: COM, NC and NO. What wires go where?

Re: Brake light micro-switch
If the micro-switch is activated by the brake pedal, then use: COM (Common) and NO (Normally Open) terminals.
That way the switch completes the connection when you press the pedal. Some setups also use a second micro-switch in the "Parking brake" lock, that switch uses: COM and the NC (Normally Closed). That way it interrupts the brake signal when you press and lock the parking brake. |
