Default Turn signals quit working when brake applied

I have a 2015 Club Car Precedent when the brake is applied the turn signals quit working all you see is a slight very dim flicker its a Route 66 upgrade kit. Brake lights and turn signals work fine when operated separately any help out there? ,Thanks.

Sounds like an issue with the light itself that is operated by an internal circuit board.....or your upgrade kit wasn’t compatible with your existing brake lights kit.

Did the brake/turn signal work correctly prior? If so, no idea.
But,I have an aftermarket turn signal kit that works as you describe. There's a simple fix using a trailer light module for a boat trailer. These sense the brake and turn and control the output. They are designed for any vehicle with amber turn signals and separate brake lights (ie Toyota). You plug in the brake light source directly from the pad or switch (not thru the turn signal controller) and wire in left and right rear turn signal leads and it will override the brake light (on the appropriate side) when turn signal is calling.
E-trailer sells the things...as does Amazon and ebay.
About $30 bucks.
