We trimmed of enough to make it work! Now the xct500 controller wont let me get the motor to run properly. It doesnt read RPM when i drive and monitor, is the speed sensor broken??? Have tried 4 and 8 pole....

Update: the magnet thats supposed to spin with the motor was smashed to pieces. Tried putting in the magnet from the GE motor, worked 2 seconds😔😔 guess the only solution is to order a new speed sensor....

Sorry to hear that. These motors are notorious for arriving with smashed speed magnets. FSIP told me they started shipping the speed sensor removed from the motor so it would not smashed by the motor in rough handling. Rough handling seems to be the norm. I'm sure David will get you fixed up asap. Meantime send him pics of the box and the damaged part(s)

Also you can run by unchecking the limit speed box - just limit your RPMS manually I

Exactly what Scottyb said.... Send me some pictures of the damage to my email and we'll get you a new one sent out right away.
