Disconnecting Battries
2005 Carryall. The manual says after disconnecting battery to turn key on and place shift lever into reverse and this will self discharge system. Is this right? And will the computer go through a relearning charging process when connected back up?

Re: Disconnecting Battries
That will work, by turning the key on, the reverse alarm drains the static charge and allows the OBC memory to be lost.
