Default 1988 club car 36 volt resistor car

Battery pack is fine. Car runs smooth in reverse but jumps in forward. Has 5 solenoids. Changed out 3 bad ones. Would you think?

Thanks,

roy

assuming no lose connections I would look at the microswitchs in the vglide ….most just replace them all....then mighty as well get 2 more solenoids....

not a vglide that year , but the box that holds the micros...

Replaced all 5 micro switches in box and still jumps to 4th speed from take off. Going to replace the 3rd solenoid and then see.
Anything else we should check?

Make sure the Solenoids are closing in the proper sequence, meaning the micro-switches are wired to the proper Solenoid.

They should activate from the driver side to the passenger side as You press the pedal.
