Default Led bulb replacement

I recently purchased a 2004 CC DS 48v. Came with factory head lights and tail lights and I am wanting to convert to LED, and was planning on simply replacing the existing 9004 (headlights) and 2057 (tail lights) with LED replacement bulbs.
Does anyone know if replacement LED's like you can buy off Amazon/ebay, etc work ok?

Thanks in advance,
Jr

You have a 2004 with 9004 headlight bulbs? 9004 are the high/low beam design. They quit using those back in the early to mid 90s. A 2004 should have a single element 886 or 889 bulb in the headlights.

Mine for sure has 9004 bulbs in the front and 2057 bulbs in the rear.

I purchased these headlights for my CC DS.

I found some cheap LEDs on eBay for the turn signals but I wasn’t happy with the fit. I felt the rear lights were fine with regular bulbs.

Sounds like whoever put the headlight kit in your car was using up some old inventory. Nothing wrong with that, just unusual.

Will any 9004 and 2056 LED plug and play ok, or will I need to look for a specific one? Main reason I ask is I notice on the rear bulb, only 1 or the 2 wire filaments light up when the light switch is on.
