Put 12v in to a 16 to 12 reducer
This may be a really dumb question but can you put 12 v into a 16 to 12 reducer ? The reason I ask is that I cannot find the 16 to 12 on the cart 2018 precedent stretch. I thought I would just get a 48 to 12 and hook the blue wire in the battery box (connected to 2 x 8v) to the red coming off the 48 to 12 and the black to ground ? Can it be this easy or do I need to find it and bypass it?

Re: Put 12v in to a 16 to 12 reducer
For energy efficiency I would definitely remove the existing reducer.
Typically they’re installed on the front suspension tower above the steering rack. |
