Default Club Car DS Tire and wheel conversion to 12 "Trailer Tires

Looking for Feed back. In our park we have an early 90's Club Car DS that has 5.30 X 12 Trailer Tires on it. The rims are white spoke 4 bolt and they seem to fit fine no rubbing on a non lifted cart. Speed should increase from 11.5 mph to 17.5 mph. Cost 4 tires and wheels on E bay 152.00 . Obviously Street use only, no turf because they are skinny. Thoughts on this cost effective way for more speed on flat pavement?

I’ve seen it online before… It looks goofy. As long as it doesn’t rub in front when you steer, I don’t see there being any harm, if you don’t mind the appearance.

I doubt you will get it to roll that fast on a 36v resistor cart. You will lose too much torque to carry it that fast as from your MPH, that is a 53% increase...(Seems more than it should be but I do not know your calculations from both tire heights)

Had a guy at one of the campgrounds we serviced who did that to a gas EZGO. It was fast, but scary. Lost so much traction with such a tiny contact patch it slid all over the place. Not just a loss of forward driving traction, but steering aND braking too. I would be very careful.

Just looking for a little more speed on flat dry pavement. Braking on dry pavement should be fine. But Thanks

I will post a picture. Different for sure, but on pavement only looks not too out of place.
Thanks
