You have the same cart that I do, the conversion to solid state can be done now as the Alltrax controllers will work at 36v or 48v. Then when you need batteries replace with 6-8v.

I did the solid state conversion last weekend and if you are even somewhat handy it’s not very difficult, especially with all the knowledge on here. I have left it at 36v with stock motor for now, my batteries just hit two years old so I dont want to buy new ones now. I’m looking for a $500 or less cart that needs batteries so I can throw mine in there and sell it to recoup money for 48v, we will see how that goes. Anyway if your carts running properly you won’t notice much difference in speed or top end power (staying 36v and stock) but I fell like the low end power and speed controll are much improved with the swap and then your ready for whatever mods you want to do down the road.

Thanks for all the help to get started. Sounds like the best plan. Do the solid state conversion then switch to 48 when I'm ready for new batteries. I'll keep you all updated on progress.
