Garage stains
The floor of my garage are already getting stains. Any suggestions on what anyone else is using under their cart?
Last thing I need is wife seeing the place look like a jiffy lube. Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Garage stains
You can use a piece of plywood, rubber roof from a roll, large cardboard box cut up, just to name a few easy ones. Need to keep the other half happy. !

What's leaking?
You have this posted in the electric section, so are you worried about the batteries leaking? The only other piece that has fluid to leak is the rear end? (unless you've added hydraulic brakes...???) I've just used an old cookie sheet and some cat litter. |

Re: Garage stains
A layer or 2 of cardboard is effective & easy to trash & free. Nicer looking solutions are available, a metal "drip pan", or a acid absorbant mat are available, but costs $. Yep, tried kat litter?

Re: Garage stains
I bought a parking mat from ebay to prevent stains from battery acid. works great.

If you are getting stains you are over filling your batteries!

Well it is a 3 car garage and the wife parks her car in one of the bays...so it's not like she will not see.
There is not a lot of staining on the floor, but just want to keep things clean. I made the mistake of spraying some of that terminal cleaner and then pouring some water on them to wash it off while the cart was in the garage. Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |
