Default 500 amp alltrax

Im trying to tune my 02 ezgo 36 volt with the 500 amp controller installed. I have the comp pluged in to the cart and it says "cannot locate motor control"

Any thoughts?

OK Chevy, tell me what you got for cables and besides what the program is telling you what else has happened?

ok I got it working. Looks like everything is set up like max output current and top speed.

Does that sound right? I attatched pic.

it says in the book it is only 400 amps but its a 500 amp controller. Why is that?

Hey Chevy I see you figured out that you need to have the controller powered up beforw the progaram is turned on That is why the software couldn't see the unit before.
I think you need to set the overvoltage at 60v and the throttle down at 2xs the throttle up ... like 5 and 15 will work... when in doubt set to default and see what the default settings are? Alltrax defaults are not bad except..... I hate 1/2 speed reverse when I am stuck in the mud So I take it off
The program should recognize your controller properly? What's up with that ???

That 1/2 speed throttle I need to change on mine, it goes so slow, I can't stand it, I wonder sometimes if it is even going to work!

Is it normal for the led to be a orange color when the cart is floored? Running full speed the light is orangish not green?

I know.... I want the power if I need it Recently reprogrammed a members cart and after I delivered it ... I left him chirping some serious rubber marks on the pavement back and forth back and forth I'm like 'see ya later' .... he's like 'chirp ...chirp.... chirp'

No not normal ...... is it only redish when floored ar all the time? Set the controller top default settings. Then test it does it still turn orange?
