Marathon people trailer project
I want a trailer for when our gang numbers more than 4 people, or I just want to show off at the camp ground. I got a running 1985 Marathon and started the tear down this weekend. I plan to cut off the front cowl, add matching rims, fender flares, paint, polished aluminum goodies, seat covers and maybe some other surprises! So far we have taken out the engine (all parts for sale by the way to help fund this venture), taken off the roof, scraped off 4 different paint jobs...green, baby blue, navy blue, red, then maroon. Going to sand some and do some body filler tomorrow.

Re: Marathon people trailer project
Today we got the filler on and started sanding. It is quite the process as the old metal body had a lot of dings & dents. The spots we did get sanded are nice and smooth. This is going to be fun!

Re: Marathon people trailer project
Looks like you are making some great progress! Got to love the filler work! I did my fair share recently as well!! So that area that USED to house the motor, is that to be the new cooler? HMMM?

Cooler AND a bazooka bass tube to match the lead cart. Maybe some storage too.

Cool! too much space not to put some type of liquid refreshment in there.
