Default Alltrax Controller Programming

Can someone point me in the right direction on programming the Alltrax Controllers. I have a SR48500 running my 36v cart. I'm upgrading to 48v Lithium and would like to know if I need to change anything and or adjust the controller for this.

Contact your battery supplier or research your battery specifications. Find the max draw and set the max limit in the controller to match. Check to see the max voltage setting on the controller is set to max to accept the higher voltage battery

sounds good! Do I need any special program download or cable to access the controller? When I bought it from you, you sent it for me.

You get the program from Alltrax web site. You use a USB cable to connect to it.

I finally got everything wired in yesterday and just adjusted the controller. I have a problem, the cart wants to move, but only jitters a few inches and stops. When I adjusted the voltage settings, dose the throttle setting change when you do this? I did not change or look at any of those setting on the Throttle curve page. Was planning to take this to camp tomorrow, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

The setting you should have changed was the maximum battery amperage draw. This does not change the throttle type or curve.

Check you actual battery pack voltage when you try to go and the cart just jitters.

Make sure your max V in the Alltrax is high enough for the battery V. I adjusted mine all the way up because the lithium has a much higher max V than the lead acid did.

I also adjusted the low V cutoff to act as a safety for my lithium in case the BMS fails.

I also found out that with 350 fewer pounds in the cart and the V higher that I ended up needing to mellow out my throttle mapping because starting from a dead stop was too aggressive... But that's after you get the cart moving normally.
