Default Fog of white smoke after oil change

91 G8. New rings and honed cylinder last summer. One oil change a few hours after ring job, no issues. Changed oil yesterday, one quart of Quaker State 10W-30. Immediate fog of white smoke on start up. Ran it for about 10 minutes off and on and no change. Not sure what I could have broke loose with only an oil change. I will check compression when I can get back to it. Runs great, easy start, just lots of smoke. Any thoughts?

150 lbs of compression. Don't know what to think. If it is valve seal, how much smoke could it make?

With the complete closure of the throttle plate there is a lot of vacuum, anywhere it can pull in air - including around the valve stem. Not a lot of experience (yet) but the engine I just rebuilt - the valve stem seal was super hard, not sealing well, rings were 'good' over 140 psi compression - smoked like a champ.
