comet clutch
I need help getting my comet clutch off. I don't have a puller. The clutch moves up and down at the motor but not sideways, is this normal? My cart is a 1986 ezgo Marathon.

Re: comet clutch
you definitely need a puller. Fill the hole up with grease insert puller and run it in with an impact and it will pop right off. It should not move around like you say and sounds like you have worn main bearings. Is the crank seal leaking?

Re: comet clutch
Yes it is leaking a little. Would this cause it to lose power going up a hill? Most of the time it will just stop.
