Default curtis controller software 2006 preceent

I downloaded the curtis controller software and spent the better part of a day getting it to work. if there is any interest let me know and I will put it on my web site, with some instructions on how to wire it up.
If this is old stuff let me know and I will shut up.

CarryOne

I was able to use a terminal program and enter the data for mode 4 and it took it. but at this point I see no difference in speed there are other settings like max speed which is set at 14.8 which may limit this.

after setting mode 4 I started the Curtis Programming software and it shows that there is a change in modes the min and max say different things and it shows as Mode 0 which cannot be set with this software, and then will not let me exit without resetting everything.

I will do more testing as time allows.

Sent this string using a terminal program one character at a time
Mode 4

hi

thanks for your info,i have not tried the controller yet

maybe the controller auto changed to speed code 3 then you tried to read settings
becouse it out of range 1-3

can you try and only put in code 4 and go for test drive, not connect with curtis software

code 4 are set at 19,2 i think

I did go for a test drive, almost tore the serial cable out of the computer I was in such a hurry.

Everything looks to be 9600 it takes the code with no problems and I tried many different sets of data if it's wrong it sends a # sign and you know it time to start over.

and yes you are correct the software auto changes because of out of range data (at least that's what the pop up window says).

The software will allow you to put it in mode 4 if you know code A, B and C each one can be from 0 to 256 so that's a lot of guessing.

maybe someone who has had this done can give us their numbers to try, something like 125 94 234 it would be the numbers from C.C. that the dealer need to put into the hand held controller.
