New Front Disc Hydraulic Brakes From Jake's

Want to let you all know. I just hang the phone with one of my providers and they are announcing the launch of a kit from Jake's of front brakes for ezgo, club car & yamaha.

Only front discs.

The kit will be a simple installation and they pray it could be done in 45 min. without touching rear brakes.
Will work for gas & electrics.
It will bring a bracket to adapt to the pedal, calipers & brackets, discs, hoses, pump, etc, all in one package.
It will be easy fit on any stock hub and will work also with Jake's lift kits and some others.
Wheel diameter it has to be 10inches min. I ask about this but they weren't sure about but guessing minimum 10 inches.

The MSRP will be in the order of the 800 but we will probably see these on the shelves for 600 - 750 around. We'll see...

I will receive some brochures from my provider soon and will try to post them here.

Yamaha is 2-3 months out. They are making there own spindles for Yamaha

EzGo and Club Car are available now. I just called Jakes on this

They are out now eh? for ezgo and club car.. i might have to call my suppliers and get these pronto!

ive been tinkerin around with making something for my on road cart, but if the price is right. Then i might have to test it out You know, product testing

the only thing is that san clemente (sp?) is selling 4 wheel disc for only $700 if you find the right supplier

I would be curios to see how "similar" the Jakes kit is with the San Clemente kit.

I've got some pictures of this new kits from Jakes.
I said "kits" because the new info I have is they are putting out two products for three mayor brands.
As told by shawn.m Yamaha are not available yet.

-non lifted carts kits (includes new spindles with calipers brackets) msrp 600
-lifted carts (only works with specific Jakes lift kit and odes not includes spindles. These aren't available yet for ezgo) msrp 500

Anyone wanting to see the pics just drop me a PM and will e-mail them.
I don't want for free troubles with my provider or Jakes.

Roady your are part right, the discs are ventilated on these ones but spindles and brackets looks similar.

So far my opinion just for seeing pics is that sanclemente's looks better for just a little more

hey there.. i have a terra toys front long travel... now i wish that they sold just the kit to do the rear. like minus the front calipers, rotors, lines.
--- does anyone have any info for me? any help would be great.
