I've checked out the Plum Quick website, and it doesnt look like they exist on ebay or anywhere else. So can you just buy a motor from them, or do you send them yours to rebuild or what?

How easy is the install?
You have to go through their website in order to purchase a motor. Just call and ask for Robby, but anyone their can answer all your questions. They are great people and will take all the time with you need. You can just buy a motor from them for $300 delivered leaving your old motor as a backup.

Click on the link in my previous thread to see actual pictures of the install. It's very easy and should take under 1 hour as long as the motor isn't stuck on the spline shaft. If that is the case a good rubber mallet tapping the end of the motor towards the differential should help loosen it. Make sure you disconnect your main negative and positive lead from the battery pack which should be the positive front most battery on the drivers side/left and the negative front most battery on the passenger side/right.

There are only 4 bolts holding the motor on along with 4 wire terminals attached to the motor. Just make sure you jot down where each wire goes, just in case of a possible mental lapse, (happens with age sometimes... or was it the booze?!?!?)
