Default Leaf Batteries Torque Setting

I have a basic question, not to be confused with a dumb question. What torque setting do you apply to the large 1/4" bolts that hold the bus bars between the cells?

The module terminal bolts are 49 in-lb and the through bolts are 85 in-lb.

Sergio don't know if you saw this fromEV battery center. I downloaded it a few years back off the sight. In the PDF it gives a slightly different Torque setting for the Leaf Battery Pack.

That brings up another question. Is there a place where you can order the orange terminal covers?

This is the closest I could find to the bus bar covers. Don’t know if they come with the covers? I personally think the price is way to high. Most people use a 3D printed cover or make a plastic cover to go over the terminals.

Try this link to see some 3D printed covers

I have been in contact with messages with cmysstailights before about leaf module covers. He is a great guy to deal with and will try to go out of his way to help you.

I have also dealt with techdirect to order G2 cells. They are a good company to deal with and deliver a nice packaged product. You may find a cheaper deal elsewhere but they stand behind their product and are located in the USA.
