Tech direct 7 leaf module leaf box warning.
I bought the $60 black 7 leaf module box from tech direct for the 2 batteries i installed in my buggy. I used metal romex connectors in the holes that where punched for stain relief on my cables. I was soldiering a quick connect on 1 of the cables when i happened to touch the side of the box with the soldier. My soldier blew up. I had noticed that the romex connectors where awful close to one of the battery terminals when i installed them. The little bit of flex from screwing the boxes down in my buggy shorted not 1 but both boxes to the batteries. If you use these punch your own hole or use a plastic strain relief. I personally can not recommend them as this is not their only fault my opinion.
