It looks like it's a little newer than mine. It probably has the id plate on the frame between the batteries. However, just in case it's older than I think, I found my numbers at the far passenger side of the aluminum bar that runs horizontally under the glove box area. It was in plain sight.

Also, it looks like the hill brake is pressed down. Does it pop up with you press the accelerator? It might just be stuck down, I think a spring is supposed to push it up. My brakes don't work at all, I need a master cylinder, brake lines, pads, everything. But, if I press down on the brake pedals, they stay locked down until I press the "gas", then I have to hook my toe under the brake pedal to pull them back up. The other guys on this site will know more about the clicking but the solenoids are supposed to do that, it is normal. Hopefully, the batteries just need charging.

The cart looks pretty good.

I really like the key chain that you have to go with a piece of history like that!!

the parking brake pedal comes up when i push the gas pedal it acts like the brakes are just stuck i will see here in a little while.... i should be able to push it around if the brakes are releasing right? do i have to have a battery charger that has a 6v switch on it or can i trickle charge them individually with a normal car charger?? the key chain is pretty cool!

okay so i just found the serial number on the frame rail between the batteries on the passenger side N-13495 which makes it a 1976 with mercury brakes. now i just have to figure out how to get it off the trailer. it rolled back a little then it got stuck so i'm going to use a come-along to pull it forward and see if that will free up the brakes.. all in all it's in pretty good shape need a little bondo on the front but its in way better shape than my 91....

so i got it off the trailer it was stuck on the bolts that hold the plywood sides on. it moved forward and backward a little i have it charging now and it appears to be taking the charge. the guy i got it from said a battery went dead over the winter so we will see he gave two extra batteries. im so excited im just beside myself im so addicted this could be a bad thing.....i guess there are worse things to be addicted too....

after letting it charge for an hour i tried to move it and it is taking the charge cause it goes forward and backward wooo hooooo
