1995 Club Car Resistor on solenoid

Well I had posted before how our club car took a dive in the lake. We decided to go ahead and upgrade it and ordered new higher torque motor, 500 amp controller, HD Solenoid, parts to beef up the F&R switch and 4g battery and motor cables (complete set)

I had removed all the electronics and found a resistor on the solenoid that looks like it burned it self out with the water submersion. It had a plastic tube over it for protection and it was burned and charred as well as the resistor. Since I cant get the color code of it to decipher does anyone know what the orig part number would be??? Its the one that crosses the two large terminals on the solenoid

You can buy them at Radio shack etc.... for a 48v system a 480 ohm 10w resistor will do.... 36v system is usually a 240ohm 10w unit

Thanks I have a few of them local here. Will the stock resistor still be fine in use with the higher flow of power with all the upgrades including HD solenoid?

Well seeing what it does and its recommended for a 470 ohm 10 watt one from the chart on the page towards the end .
The pre-charge circuit draws little or no power. Its
purpose is to maintain the capacitors at battery pack
voltage so when the contactor is closed, no arcing
occurs. Resistor value is determined by pack voltage.
Battery Pack
Voltage
Resistor Value
12V-36V 250 Ohm 10W
48V 470 Ohm 10W
72V 1000 Ohm 10W

True,
I already have it marked to pick up a 1N5408 Rectifier Diode 3A 1000V to add to it with the HD solenoid.I found that info on that info readout also in the same section.
It was the resistor value I was unsure of and appreciate the help
