Default So, here's the question guys...

do you really think a new battery will fix everything? I'm going to get rid of this cart as soon as it's running OR just trade it in like it is. It's a huge difference in cash. Do you think it's worth going and buying an $80 battery just to see if it will work?

Here's the odd twist. 1. It was getting SOME power as it would go about 60% in reverse...before I blew up the battery. 2. I put the amp meter on the batteries and they all tested good. could it test good and still have a short?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate the replies already.

This cart doesn't have a controller...I don't think. Only the coils

It has a 1/2 speed reverse pulling off 1/2 the battery pack.

Ah, good point. So, do you feel pretty good that replacing the battery that blew up will fix it? I've just never heard of a bad battery.

It was really an odd "condition". Yesterday, before it exploded, when you pressed the accelerator it would seem to get a tiny burst of power every once in a while. Not much, and not even enough to move the cart. You could just feel it.

Could hook up just 1/2 battery pack to forward, and see if it works.
