48v power supply
48v key switch

480 amp 48v controller, what brand?
p8-6 is this a potentiometer?
48v f/r switch

The schematic shows two micro switches. What are they for?

6 batteries that are 8 volts. This will make 48 volts.
48v key switch
The key switch thats is there will work

You need a 48 volt solenoid
480 amp 48v controller, what brand?
I would go with a Alltrax AXE programmable
p8-6 is this a potentiometer?
I would buy a MCOR conversion kit. It is a direct bolt on replacement. The PB-6 will require rigging up to make it work
48v f/r switch
buy a heavy duty fwd and rev switch

The schematic shows two micro switches. What are they for?
I aint sure someone else will be along and can answer that. None of mine are hooked up

This is scottyb's schematic for a 48V upgrade that he posted. I used it as a base diagram for my conversion. It works

There is a micro switch on the F/R switch. You need this to activate the circuit when you put the car in forward or reverse.

There is a micro switch on the PB-6. The PB-6 is a throttle box with a potentiometer. You need this to activate the circuit when you press down on the GO pedal.

If the cart originally had MCOR, or there is a bolt on conversion kit, I would probably stay with it. I don't know enough about the benefits of MCOR vs. PB-6. There's a lot of information on this forum to help you make your decision.

I converted mine from 36 volt resistor to electronic controller and the MCOR is a direct replacement bolt on. I thought about going with the curtis PB-6 but, like I said you have to put it where the old wiper switch was mounted and rigg or fabricate it into place to make it work. Not to mention the MCOR is a sealed water proof unit. The techs at D&D motor systems are the ones who sold me on the MCOR. You can find the conversion kit on EBAY for around 250ish. Its more expensive than the PB-6 but, its saves time and headache of mounting it and getting it to function properly. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.
