2003 IQ Dead
Hey Guys,
Hope everybody is having a nice Sat evening. I'm usually cruising the hood right about now but I'm having a major problem. My beloved Club Car is dead................... Total voltage at 50v. Has been running fine. Put charger on, batteries charged fine but tonight only sound is microswitch click at foot pedal. I found a blown 3/8 amp fuse at charger plug but still no go. Main solenoid wll not close. Blue wire from switch to sol coil is good with proper voltage (50v across switch while open) but blue/white from controller has no potential to solid blue. Jumper from battery pack to the coil will energize solenoid.... I've checked all visual connections. Tow/ride is good, keyswitch is good. Any ideas guys?????????? |

Re: 2003 IQ Dead
IQ carts are tough to figure. You may have to replace the fuse before it will run.

Re: 2003 IQ Dead
the obc is delicate and in that curcuit but that shouldnt cause it not to move. I have an 00 IQ cart and when i hit the peddle i heard a click but no go. I replace the solenoid and all is well.

Re: 2003 IQ Dead
If you ran a jumper from the small trigger wire/ground on solenoid to the main Neg. on battery pack and the cart moves....Bad OBC....
A bad OBC will kill the cart...the 3/8th's amp fuse being blown will not shut the cart down by itself....but???? what caused the fuse to blow??? |
