Carlisle vs. ITP All Trail Tires

I just got my new tires and wheels from a site sponsor who shall go unnamed FOR NOW. I ordered Carlisle All Trail II 4 ply and received ITP All Trail 2 ply all nicely mounted as requested. Question: Are the ITP tires made by Carlisle? Are they the same except for the number of plies? My receipt clearly shows Carlisle All Trail II 4 ply. I just need the information so I can deal with it tomorrow when they open. Thanks.

To be honest... I don't know!

BUT... I do know that 2 and 4 ply tires are different! (but not alot!)
Check with the sponsor in question, and hopefully they'll get it straightened out for you!

Thanks, Don. I will call the vendor tomorrow. I ordered the Carlisle because they are 4 ply. I want 4 ply and that is what I plan to have. I appreciate your input. I feel right certain they will make it right.

From what I have seen ITP and Carlisle are the same company. Not sure which is the "parent", but they are linked somehow.

Talked to the vendor this morning to explain the problem. They were very positive and are in the process of working it out. Although still unnamed, I shall heap the proper praise on them once it is all worked out.

we sell both itp and the carisle... if your on the west coast or get your product from the west coast they are coming ITP and if we drop ship from the midwest they are coming carisle.. we have not had any complaints on either or.... the carisle are more money.. you should be good with either or...
