Charging problem on 48 V. CC

Charge it to the same #'S as the other batteries are. Then yes, put back in pack & try again. But if it keeps fallen down, then this sounds like a good time to replace the pack.

Are there any tricks to charging it without the 8 volt charger? I dont have one nor does anyone I know.

You can charge it with a 12V charger but only for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Monitor battery voltage and make sure battery does not get more than slightly warm to the touch.

Completely depends on what the voltage is to start with. Just charge it for 10 min or so, making sure the battery case does not get too warm. Take if off the charger for 15 minutes, check voltage. Repeat as necessary.

Is this something if not careful you could end up with a face full of battery or something?

We are just telling you things that we have already done, & with success.
But when it comes to batteries. Anything is possible. Even with new ones.
Take your time. You can do it.

I just went and put a 10 amp charger on it for about 8 or 10 min. and it did not get warm. I checked the voltage and it was 8.30.. about perfect with the others. I sure appreciate the help... I will wait about a half hour and i will go get another reading.

Glad it worked out. As GarageBuilt said, key is taking your time and erring on the side of caution.

Thought I had the problem solved with a bad battery. I replaced that battery and it still does the same thing. Any new thoughts on what it could be? was thinking maybe the charger or the computer.
