85 Club Car suddenly quits

I removed the buss bar and found the #1 solenoid melted under the buss. It did go to zero when pedal was pressed. #2 did also.
3,4,& 5 did not.
I am sure I need to replace #1. I am not convinced that is my only problem. What do you think.

If 3-4-5 did not have continuity when pedal was mashed, you need to replace them. Unless you have a microswitch problem. Check the solenoids also to make sure that the small yellow wire that runs to the small post of each solenoid has a good ground. Place red probe of volt meter on main pos. battery post. Place black probe of meter on small yellow on each solenoid. If that checks OK, place black probe on main neg. battery post and then place red probe on small post of each solenoid. Start with the green, red, white, blue, black.
I think the problem is in the solenoids. Keep us posted.
