8 volt battery switch to 12 volt
I have a 2006 club car ds iq with 8 volt batteries. I'm wanting to switch to 4 12 volt batteries. Can this be done? Would it be better than six 8 volt batteries? Also, does this model have a regen feature and how does that work? Any info would be appreciated because this is my first cart. Thanks.

Thanks for the input so far. I think I'll stay with the 6-8 volts
