Re: Need your help to make a decision on buying!
Hi
I did mention the craigslist cart but then he said about the warrenty his carts have...I suppose he is right, if I bought a used cart and it fell apart in a year I would be pissed I hadn't spent extra on a warrenty cart! |

If you don't feel good about it now then maybe you should wait a few days before making the purchase. Buyer's remorse is a lowsy feeling, I've had it before and I think I've learned over the years to take my time before buying something.

The warrenty is worth a lot , ask them to throw in the #4 speed upgrade and a Maint/service and buy it

Re: Need your help to make a decision on buying!
I'm in the same cart as you Outatime. My local dealer is about $300 - $400 higher than a craigslist guy that's 2 hours away. I've decided on the local guy but I'm still going to try and take him down to match the craigslist guy. The local guy is an authorized dealer and will answer any question I'm going to have, plus give a 3 month warranty. I'm going to ask for money off and a longer warranty from the local guy, but I feel good knowing he is a good resource.

Thanks again guys, I am pretty sure I am going to go with the local guy but do you think its a fair price for the cart, I mean I am not getting ripped off am I?

Re: Need your help to make a decision on buying!
A good sale is when both the buyer and seller are happy.
1 year newer is worth at least $500, local guy, 3 year warranty including batteries seems quite enticing, if you feel good about it then go for it. IMO, if you're new to golf carts, the warranty maybe the best part of the deal. |

Re: Need your help to make a decision on buying!
Hi guys
Just a quick update, I took delivery of my Precedent Club Car on Saturday morning and I love it! Moves faster than my old gas cart and its clean and looks great, can't wait to start modding it :) No buyer remorse here, I got a few extras and have the three year warrenty and they are only down the road and are good for help when I need it , thank you all for the advice and help. Congrats on the new cart. Local dealer, with a 3 year warranty, it doesn't get much better than that.
Post up some photos and specs, let's see what you bought. |
