Question club car not charging-

School cart is not charging--48 volt system--with good batteries runs fine. I batteries are good, but charger will not engage when plugged in.

looking for suggestions on how to check solenoid and electrical for cart--vintage 2001.

quit charging over summer--

also looking for a wiring diagram for this 48v system. Need diagnostics for no-charge issue.
thanks

Is this your wiring diagram?

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that a solenoid, whether good or bad, has nothing to do with whether the batteries will or will not charge.

I need to identify how the system identifies the charger when it is plugged in. The wiring diagram seems to be correct--check tomorrow.

thanks for the help--48volt system--with computer. hope this works.

What is the battery pack voltage? Some of these chargers will not turn on if the battery pack voltage is too low.

Individual battery readings would also e helpful ie: 8.35 etc for each battery...

I will check voltages--see about getting them to charge on a remote charger.

thanks
