Parts Cart
Ok so I have been fixing up a 48v 99 Club Car DS and everything is good with it. Goes about 15mph with a 6" lift and 22" tires. My neighbor had an club car that the batteries have been taken out of and I dont really know what all is wrong with it but has some parts that I can use so he let me have it.
It has the motor and controller but I dont know how to tell if it is a 36v or 48v. The Serial # is a9408 370026 and I know that the charger plug is different then my 3 prong. If this is a 36v is there anything that I can use on my cart like the motor? Or whole rear end? If you put a 36v motor in a 48v cart what happens? |

Re: Parts Cart
From my understanding you get more speed and torque from the 36v motor on 48v.

Re: Parts Cart
Really? I am going to have to try it. Does it matter that the studs that the wires hook up to are in a row instead of 2 next to eachother?
