Default 2003 Gas Club Car DS stops running

My DS will crank and run fine for about 5 minutes or until it gets warmed up. It starts missing and will quit running. I can let it cool off for about 30 min. It will crank and run fine for another 5 min. Any suggestions?

There are 2 things to look for when it quits running... Spark, and Fuel flow,
Have you checked either of those yet?

Remove the ground wire from the left mounting bolt of the rev limiter, (1" x 2" box on the lower front of the engine)
and try it again!

It's either that, or the coil... maybe even a bad spark plug!

I agree with lockman- coil or RPM limiter, both can fail the same way. Disconnect the RPM limiter and if you still have an issue its the coil. DONT USE AFTERMARKET parts

I have a buddy of mine who has the same cart as you,,
He had same problem, Would use the cart for 10-20 mins and it would just die, Wait 20 mins and it would run fine for 10 -15 mins again,

Turned out to be a faulty coil, When it was cold it would fire, But as soon as it warmed up it stopped firing...

They say when the coil goes, you should change the coil and the rev limiter at the same time... They work together...

Just trying to help ...
