Replacement Motor
Hi
I have 88 CC DS the engine broke (needs new crank and con rod) very expensive to get these parts in the UK. So I decided to fit an Honda GX340 engine but allready coming up against a few problems ie getting the drive of the crank machined to fit the clutch and a throttle cable to match. Has anybody ever tried this before is there any other problems that I might come up against. Any help or advise welcome, thought it was going to be an easy swap but it's starting to look more and more difficult each day. Cheers Adie. |

Re: Replacement Motor
Hey adiexp, Check with site sponsor CPP. He does alot of conversions. He can at least send ya in the right direction. A 780 Comet Clutch will solve the crank issue. Don't know on the rest.
