I'm lifting a 1992 DS Gas cart 6" and need help finding rear shocks. Can anyone provide me with a part number?

I believe this is the part # Actually, I'm not sure that is correct. That is showing a bottom end vertical mount shock. My 92 CC DS has a horizontal bottom end mounting shock . I used the website golfcartpartsdirect.com to find the number. They have good exploded views and parts descriptions. Last edited by BBBHC; 07-25-2018 at 09:01 PM.. Reason: Might be wrong info |

Actually I need the old style shocks (horizontal mount on the bottom and vertical at the top) They have to be longer than stock to fit with a 6" lift!!

Re: Need rear shocks for a 1992 DS Gas with a 6" lift?
Most rear lifts have an extra hole in the U bolt bracket that is on top of the leaf spring,
For pre-96 carts, that extra hole needs to be bent up 90 degrees and then mount your existing shock to it with a new bolt. Again, most lifts have that bracket with the extra hole, but I have seen some that don't have it. |
