Well Sho,Spriddle this was how the cart came to me.Heck I haven't ever drove it.
I do thank you guys for your input.
Sho I have to say you have a lot of great points and I have been reading your post on your clone swaps.I think I will try and find a used stock clutch for it right now.I think that will be the best way to go with it.Since I plan to swap in a clone engine.
Although I hate to admit but I might put this clutch back in for mock up purposes and to see how it moves under its own power when I get the new engine in.
I definately am gonna need another one

I wouldn't mess with using that clutch again. It's dangerous. It could fly apart and cause injury. Toss it.

I'm going through the same thing right now. Bought a 16hp Duromax and am gonna take the plunge and get a CVtech clutch. My old G2 clutch was smoked so I found a cheap G1 that I put on mine for the time being but in the end its still a used clutch and I rather just have something new myself.

Well if you know where you want to go, you can make the right calls and get there without buying something you will not need later. The stock clutches work fine on clones, but if you trail ride you might want more zing anyway. I figure I can swap any time so not a big deal anyway. I and others use this cart for a lot of short runs/yardwork where the pedal start is very ideal, not wanting to change it. If I can get it to work on the trail ok, and it does, then I'm happy. When I build another cart I might not see it that way lol, that would be mostly a trail cart and not a do-everything cart like this.

I ordered parts for the cart that broke the sheave, he kept driving it next door anyway figured what the heck. It would not go very fast since it was losing 'gears' lol and made a heck of a racket. He was not trying to go fast either just too far to walk. The primary had the holes in it like that too. All the parts were good in it, was just like new when I put the new sheave on it.

The primary and secondary both, had windows in them when I bought my car. I changed the secondary out right away, I couldn't find a primary, (said Yamaha was on back order). I finely found one at TNT carts. I don't think its safe to run one in that condition, knowing what I believe I know now.

I've got a friend that has a factory clutch that needs rollers $60.00 for the rollers. I will see what he'll take for the clutch if you want. Let me know?

They can blow up and fly out, but you would have to be doing 5K rpm or something. His fell off and the cart stopped in a few foot, he was going 10mph or so. Yes I bought at TNT and CPP iirc.
