year model?
can anyone tell me what year my g1 is? the serial number(or what i think is the serial number, found on rear bumper driver side) is J31-000-193?

Not so familiar with your model but doubt the serial # is on the bumper! Look on the frame or chassis maybe under the seat?

actually i guess that it would be the frame on the rear driver side and not the bumper where i found the number.

 They put the serial # on the removable bumper!? So I can change the serial # on a Yamaha just by changing the bumper??? |
