1998 Club Car Reverse Speed Question
I have a 1998 Club Car. I remember, from a former friend, that a pre 1997 Club car will run as fast in reverse as foward. I know a 2000 Club Car will not run as fast in reverse.
Will my 1998 run as fast in reverse , or is it set up up like a 2000? Thinking about an engine swap. |

I read in a service manual somewhere while glancing around that the ratio difference between forward and reverse is small on the ones where reverse is slower than forward. My only thought is does it matter if it is slower on your cart?
